mr sze has given every student a set of violin strings. he gave me an Infeld Blue Set. dou hai Dominant lei ga wor, but gwor more expensive and wui produce more brilliant sound. "at present there are 2 types of infeld violin strings, whereby the Red set will prosuce a rather dark sound... while the Blue set will tend to bring out the instrument's brilliance. tonal balance, playing characteristics at any given position and string response are excellent throughout. this is possible due to homogenous string tension at various pitches and design parameters which balance the overall behavious of the set irrespective of the comvination of strings...." ---------------------------------- today when i read Allen Au's email in the library...
