One of the good things about living on your own is that you learn more about home care. Since flies have kept dashing into my room from outside and there is no way to help them get out (with their very tiny little brains they don't remember where they come in!), I have been researching on the internet to find ways of preventing flies coming around. The easiest solution is to put a pot of basil by the window and you can even use the leaves for cooking. Anothing easy method is to cut a lemon into quarters, pour boiling water over it, leave for one night and it will become a natural repellent which you can spray on the porch and tables etc. |
