Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 12:12 a.m. i'm glad that i went to the open studio event although i took me over an hour to get there from wimbledon. their studio was huge and looked exactly like the kind of studio you would dream of - large but cramped with books and all sorts of curious objects, nice furniture, living space, nice view and interesting neighbours. nice to see alvis again and meet her korean friend who's studying something like media in goldsmiths. anyway it's really nice to know that such independent art space or community exists in london. and they should be quite relevant since they seem to be interested in architecture and city. even if there isn't any exhibition going on, i guess it's still a pleasure strolling in that area. the moment i turned into Andrews Road, i was immediately faced with the impressive gas plant that kept reminding me of Videotage. i can't write more since i've got too tired at the end of the week. |
