(我估同學會自己對住個mon傻笑,睇住黎)

poured too many prawns in. got too full again =/ but it tastes nice. claudie i dare not 班門弄斧 indeed. i don't even know how to cook rice!

we got into tutor groups and had the first meeting today. same as what i predicted before, most of us are sculptors. and tomorrow we'll have the first lecture on theory. i pray that i can understand it.

recently i have chatted with Classmate's friend who studied MA publishing in LCC and Anafelle, who is the only other classmate from hong kong, and whose boyfriend studied book art in Camberwell last year. i have an impression that despite the small size of library, wimbledon's people, environment and facilities are really not bad compared to other colleges. there isn't any lasercutting machine or any of those machines we have in cad lab, but there is a sculpture workshop (which i probably won't use since i know nothing about the machines), a metal workshop (for unknown reason we aren't given any induction and therefore i still don't know how to use it!?), a wood workshop (love it since it's the only one that i know what to do with it!), dark room (dark room workshop next week. excited about it), printing workshop, media room (kind of like cad lab but with Macs and video editing software) etc. printing is expensive and i think there are only 1 or 2 A3 printers.

don't have such thick face skin to socialize with others in studio pantry. i'm sure they are nice people but i just don't have the courage to walk up and join the conversation, and in fact i always have problems hearing what other people say. anyway i am beginning to get on with a few people from south korea, argentina, cyprus and the other girl from hong kong.

alvis has arrived in london and she's asking if i'm interested in going to an opening near bethnal green. the gallery is called Ambient Space (http://www.ambienttv.net) and their programmes seem very 對口味. see if i can make it tomorrow. it's really important to be actually able to experience something first hand since there are things that cannot be recorded by books or even videos, and that is a big part of the learning experience ba.
