back from chanel mobile art. i should love to see the art container from above. thanks chanel for bringing zaha to hk. by the way, despite its futuristic form, it fits central perfectly well in terms of its scale and every thing about it. i guess it must be the most easy to be accepted work by hadid. it isn't particularly good-looking (except the entrance with the floor lighting perhaps), and its colourlessness blends into the environment, but it has done a good job being an 'art container', a stageset for the story inside. it is actually a very exciting industry / profession, but i'm afraid of getting into it. will be there again with colleague next week. looking forward to a good chat. |
