left the company after 10pm today. my only teammate (there are only 2 full time staff including me) sara was pretty sick. she tripped over in the mtr train and had a swollen ankle. a lot of times mr moss makes me sick. his so-called *design*, his so-called *pure architecture*, his *renaissance man* self-boasting. my oh my. it all makes me sick. just like mr ho, i've lots of stories to tell you guys. haha. after the marcel wanders incident, i was moderately mocked by boss again today. �ܻ��ڦaݯ����lighting designer�Aa guy called jason who works super slow (low efficiency+low quality). he specified the lighting for our cinema, and today we found that goh lighting exceed jor budjet 3 to 4 times gum la. so we started to thinking about what lighting effects to give up. we had some dimmable cold cathode originally. boss suggested to replace it with some kind of dimmable ����. i thought it's just an ordinary fluorescent tube that is dimmable, but then it turned out that it's not what i thought it was. boss saw my ���� and said, 'you don't know what it is? it's super common ga wor! it's everywhere!' 'orh...' 'you really don't know? r u sure?' 'no... i haven't seen it.' '...' i must look ridiculous and ignorant in his eyes. i don't know marcel wanders, i don't know dimmable ����. he even asked, '�A�ad education�Y�}�do�Ymies van der rohe?' my dear boss, when i told u about ���F�F�a and Poe told u about �T�Ϫ��y and you said u hadn't heard of them and u asked if ���F�F�a was a japanese name, i could just ridicule u just like how u ridiculed me, but i chose not to coz i respect both 'high' and 'low' cultures. |
