3rd day of work. OT for 3 days (and more to come). it's actually two small companies (one specializing in graphics, one specializing in buidlings) under one boss and under one roof. and there are some people doing management/marketing/research as well.

we're now working on a new UA cinema in Tuen Mun. i joined the project midway, so sometimes i really don't know what the hell they are talking about. and all those jargons and building services... the external reference thingy in autocad is driving me crazy. the files are extremely messy and you never know which file has been touched by whom, and which file is the most updated version, and a lot of times you don't know where to find a file coz there are so many folders. that makes our working inefficient. actually we're just �������.

BUT the good thing is that despite my greeness, i have opportunities to touch on different things. i and another new staff can often attend meetings and have discussions with boss (it can be quite irritating when he keeps interrupting your work and asks you to do this and that. you can't really do several tasks at the same time and you end up doing everything slow).

i was asked to draw a detail tonite. i told boss i didn't know how. and another parttime staff taught me very very patiently. let's hope i can work faster and become more helpful later.

but then i don't know if i stand it for long. if you are talking about one year, it seems already quite difficult if you are working for this firm.

have been contacting the staff at corbusierhaus berlin (the unite habitation in berlin. designed by le corbusier). we may stay there for 3 days at 28euro each person per night. it's cool isn't it? hello corbu =)
