fallen into a deeper love with radiohead after listening to The Bends. really really great music and moving vocal by thom yorke. but the music sounds not as mature as later albums, though?

planet telex
You can force it but it will not come
You can taste it but it will not form
You can crush it but it's always here
You can crush it but it's always near
Chasing you home saying
Everything is broken
Everyone is broken

You can force it but it will stay stung
You can crush it as dry as a bone
You can walk it home straight from school
You can kiss it, you can break all the rules
But still
Everything is broken
Everyone is broken

Everyone is, everyone is broken
Everyone is, everything is broken

Why can't you forget?
Why can't you forget?
Why can't you forget?

my favourite song from this album is High and Dry.

i went to discovery bay yesterday just to see what kind of place it was. when i arrived i though it's like park island of ma wan. well, a cheaper, older version, though. there're indeed many foreigners. the residential buildings didn't look high class or expensive, though. unlike those residential towers along victoria harbour, they're more of the comfy, ˥ type. there's one sandy beach near the ferry pier. i didn't get down on the sand as there was some maintenance/engineering work going on there. it was not as beautiful and clean as the one in ma wan anyway.
there were a lot of little golf cars for hire. i think they were like taxis gwa, but they just served discovery bay. transportation should be ok convenient dik. as there were bus service to tung chung 24 hrs a day, and other services to the airport and central as well. it should be a nice place for living, except that there's not much to do and not much to see.
if i came such a long way just to see these residential buildings i would have regret coming, but then i found that discovery bay was actually quite near to mui wo. so i followed the path, beginning at the small village in ZW, hoping i might reach mui wo before sunset.
i didn't know why it's so exhausting to walk that path, despite the fact that it's rather wide and well-paved. maybe it's hongkong's weather. i didn't how much time i spent on walking, but i really felt exhausted. then i finally reached ֶ, a monastery that's still functioning. it should be where Qr was produced in the past. i never knew there was this monastery on lantau under yesterday.
by this time it's already about 530pm. i was not sure whether i should still move on. i didn't know how long it would take to reach mui wo, and there were no streetlights at all. therefore i finally gave up and went back to discovery bay. i will finish it someday for sure.
