Every life is a defense of a particular form.

Once I met a friend. He was pushing an empty trolley slowly on the road. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was meditating. I thought for a while but could not imagine how meditation was possible with that noise of rattling trolley. Now I begin to understand the value of physical labour. Pure repetition of body movements without leading to production as an end, creates a physical state in which the body forgets itself and the mind is liberated. The trolley was perhaps to him a kind of totem (as in Inception) or the owl to Harry Potter - a symbolic tool that helped drawing him into the meditation process.

I begin to suspect that the more education/information we get, the easier we stray. If our minds and our world get increasingly complicated, it is all the more important to question oneself constantly, with especially the most fundamental questions. A Q&A session is a good idea. I still remember a tutor saying there was a difference between being childish and childlike.

Borrowing emotions from pop culture again.
