Saw Belle & Sebastian at Roundhouse last night. Brilliant band! They're genius when it comes to songwriting, and much to my surprise, Stuart Murdoch could actually sing very well. And I loved the cello girl (Sarah?). I was also surprised that I actually knew almost all the songs they played. My favourite were A Century of Fakers, Mornington Crescent and Pop Looks Bach. I knew I was secretly yearning for This Is Just A Modern Rock Song and a cover of The Boy With A Thorn In His Side or even Electric Renaissance, but their performance was so perfect - what more could I ask for?
