Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 12:45 a.m. Decided to explore Heygate Estate in Elephant and Castle after finding Coopers Road Estate in Bermondsey had already been demolished. Heygate was built in 1974 and has been vacanted for demolish later this year, starting from February according to Wikipedia. I was very cautious when walking around the estate. There was no one except some teenagers, but teenagers should probably be the most dangerous people in London. I have been thinking of shooting a video here but after seeing the site and knowing that it will be demolished from mid February onwards, I don't think this can be realized. Went to OXO Wharf for Central St Martins' mid term show afterwards. Will post photos of work I liked later.
