spent a night in cousin's new house in Harrogate and have just arrived in uncle auntie's home in Pudsey. really good to have mobile broadband. we will yum cha in Leeds in the afternoon and then i will go back to London. this cousin will get married in a castle next september. booking a castle for wedding isn't a really difficult thing i suppose, but once again it makes me think about the notion of romance. ignoring the price, is there any difference between holding a castle wedding and a mcdonald's wedding? and having played live music for weddings myself, i actually don't understand why people would want to pay musicians to play canon in D at their weddings. why castle and canon in D = romance? who defines it? why do people fly all the way to taiwan to take wedding photos while they have no connection to the place or when the background is only articifial 廠景? why do we all seem to agree with this definition? |
